Jackson Brigham serves as President of the Future Healthcare Executives (FHE) student organization at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. In his position as President, Jackson leads a team of fellow officers and chairs to create opportunities to explore the healthcare field for the organization’s members. He works closely with a number of established professionals, in a variety of roles in the healthcare spectrum, who are willing to lend their time to guest speak, host and attend volunteer events, teach networking skills, and provide internship as well as job shadowing opportunities. Jackson’s goal during his tenure is to build an organization that helps its members to enter the workforce prepared, connected, and motivated.
Aside from his duties as President of FHE, Jackson is pursuing a degree in Healthcare Administration with a minor in Business. He has gained exposure to the field through internships, volunteering, and personal experiences. Jackson currently splits his time between Milwaukee and Chicago, as his fiancee is pursuing her doctorate in Optometry there. He will be moving to Chicago permanently in the summer of 2018, and looks forward to beginning graduate school and his career in that city.
In addition to being a student representative on the American College of Health Care Executives Board, Jackson also serves on the UWM College of Health Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board.
