Following the presentation\, we will head across the street for a Mix & Mingle at Merriment Social. \nACHE-WI is authorized to award 1 Qualified Education credit for attendance of this event. \nThis is your chance to connect\, learn\, and grow within the healthcare industry. Spaces are limited\, so secure your place today! \nRegister Here\nSchedule of Events: \n\nRegistration – 4 p.m.\nProgram Presentation – 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.\nMix & Mingle (at Merriment Social) – 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.\n\nPresentation: Lean and Six Sigma in Architectural Design and Construction \nIn recent years\, healthcare providers have begun to utilize Lean tools to reduce wasteful processes and streamline operations.  This presentation will provide background on how these initiatives can be supported in the design and construction process.  We will also cover various Lean philosophies\, and while they have different approaches\, all have the same goal of eliminating waste and improving efficiency for the end user. \nLearning Objectives: \n\n\nUnderstand the foundational principles of Lean and Six Sigma and how they apply to healthcare design and construction projects. \n\n\nIdentify key Lean tools and philosophies that support the elimination of waste and improved operational efficiency during the planning and building process. \n\n\nRecognize opportunities to integrate Lean thinking into architectural design to enhance outcomes for healthcare providers and end users. \n\n\n  \nParking: \nA limited number of parking spots are available in front of the building.
