Wendy Horton Wendy M. Horton, PharmD, BCPS, currently serves as the Surgery Program Director at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. In this role, Wendy is responsible for spearheading the Department of Surgery's strategic direction, including clinical program development, faculty recruitment, growing clinical volume, and marketing and outreach initiatives. Previously, Wendy served in a variety of clinical management positions, including Technology Assessment Analyst for the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, Senior Clinical Pharmacist for the Center for Drug Policy and Clinical Pharmacist for the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics. Wendy is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the ACHE Wisconsin Chapter. In 2012, Wendy will attain Fellowship in the College and she is a 2011 graduate of the Wisconsin ACHE Leadership Development Program. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy degree from Oregon State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah. She is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Registered Pharmacist in Wisconsin and Utah.
