Ashley Hines

Ashley Hines is a corporate executive, entrepreneur, and devoted community advocate with nearly two decades of cross-sector experience. She is an Area Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer – Wisconsin Market for Advocate Health. Ashley implements market-based DEI strategies and collaborates with market leadership to integrate DEI best practices across all disciplines. Additionally, she leads the enterprise DEI Strategic Partnerships Center of Excellence and thoughtfully develops, stewards, and strengthens key DEI internal and external partnerships. Ashley is the membership chair for the National Association of Health Service Executives (N.A.H.S.E) Wisconsin Chapter and a regent for the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) Board of Directors.

Before joining Advocate Health, Ashley was pivotal in establishing and growing the Offices of Diversity and Inclusion and Global Health at the Medical College of Wisconsin.​ Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies – child development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. ​

She has received several distinctions, including 2024 United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Milwaukee Mastermind, 2022 and 2023 Becker’s Health 40 Health System Diversity and Inclusion Executives to Know, participated in the 2020-21 Harvard Business School Young American Leaders Program, received the 2020 United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County Philanthropic 5 Award, and honored with a 2017 Milwaukee Business Journal 40 under 40 Award. ​Ashley lives with her husband and two children in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.​
