Eric Erickson, MBA, FACHE

Eric Erickson, Vice Chair of Hospital Practices for Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, Wisconsin, joined Mayo Clinic in 1999.  Prior to being recruited to Mayo’s Wisconsin-based team in 2012, Mr. Erickson held administrative and business development assignments at Mayo Clinic’s campuses in Rochester, Minnesota, and Scottsdale, Arizona. He currently serves multiple Department Chairs, the Clinical Practice with over 220 providers, and the numerous allied health staff who provide patient care in Southwest Wisconsin, Southeastern Minnesota, and Northeastern Iowa. He also supports all Mayo Clinic-integrated medical education and research efforts in the region including the Family Medicine residency, the State’s longest-standing CRNA program, and over 300 active research studies and clinical trials with over 3,500 current patent enrollees.

Mr. Erickson has previous healthcare experience with Duke LifePoint, Marquette General Health System, and experience overseeing Board Certification for the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Eric attended Michigan Technological University, received his bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University, and his Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University. Eric is an Assistant Professor of Healthcare Administration for the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
