Eric B. Erickson, Vice President of Primary Care for Mayo Clinic Health System – Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, Wisconsin, joined Mayo Clinic in 1999. Prior to joining Mayo’s Wisconsin-based team in 2012, Mr. Erickson held administrative and business development assignments at Mayo Clinic’s campuses in Rochester, Minnesota, and Scottsdale, Arizona. He currently serves the Chief Medical Officer, four regional Medical Directors, over 120 providers, and the numerous allied health staff who provide patient care in the primary care divisions for Mayo Clinic Health System in Southwest Wisconsin, Southeastern Minnesota, and Northeastern Iowa. He also supports all regional medical education and research efforts including a Family Medicine residency program and over 300 active research studies and clinical trials.
Mr. Erickson has previous healthcare experience with Duke LifePoint, Marquette General Health System, and experience overseeing Board Certification for the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Eric received his bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition, he serves as a Board Director for numerous community-focused non-profit organizations as well as Director for the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, Healthcare Management Executive Advisory Board.
