Think Fast, Work Well: Training Leaders to Communicate Effectively

Abstract

Many healthcare leaders face challenges in improving the customer experience, collaborating across departments, and creating high-performing teams.

I teach leaders to harness the power of improv so they can connect meaningfully with their teams. With these skills, they will drive quality patient experience while increasing employee engagement and satisfaction.

This is a highly interactive presentation based on improvisational exercises. Each exercise simulates challenges and “scenes” in real life and the debriefing explores how to translate these skills to professional scenarios. Participants will learn strategies and practical tools to improve communication, teamwork and emotional intelligence. This workshop is engaging and dynamic while emphasizing powerful leadership skill sets.

Value to Audience/Learning Objectives

  • Perform communication skills to enhance creative problem solving and cross-team decision-making strategy.
  • Practice exercises to improve mental flexibility and ability to think quickly in high-stakes situations.
  • Experience strategies to effectively collaborate with team members to create exceptional workplace experience
