WHA Advocacy Day 2018
March 21, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
WHA’s Advocacy Day is an annual legislative event designed to motivate and educate health care employees, volunteers and trustees on health-related issues and grassroots advocacy opportunities.
Advocacy Day 2018 will have a great line up of speakers, including opening keynote Mara Liasson. She is the national political correspondent for NPR, and her reports can be heard regularly on NPR’s award-winning newsmagazines, All Things Considered and Morning Edition.
The day also includes the popular legislative panel discussion, and Governor Scott Walker has been invited to offer a luncheon keynote address.
There is no registration fee to participate in Advocacy Day, but pre-registration is required.
WHA encourages and invites hospital CEOs, CFOs, managers, nurse executives, hospital volunteers, hospital trustees, WHA HEAT grassroots members, Partners of WHA members, WHA corporate members, and any other hospital staff interested in helping to shape the future of health care in Wisconsin communities to attend.
